This is a reminder that the deadline for our Your Part of the World photography competition is a week from today! The deadline is August 4th, 12:00 noon PST. So far we have already received a good number of entries, but if you're still considering entering, then just be sure to submit your entry before it's too late! Since our last stock photos update, our stock photos section continues to grow rather rapidly. At the time of the writing for this update, our stock photos section has exactly 600 stock photos! In this update are included 66 new stock photos. The bulk of the photos, 53, was submitted by Scarlett, 6 photos were submitted by Jenny, 4 of them were submitted by kyra, and Anna, Amy, and I submitted one photo each. What's this, another competition? Aren't we already holding a design comp that began only two days ago? Yes and yes! As suggested by Kyra and several others, we should hold more competitions. Well, here's an exciting new competition for you. For this competition, you must submit a photograph that symbolizes or represents where you live. It can be a well-known monument, something that is unique to your home city, country, etc., or something that your home is well-known for and takes pride in. And also please include in your description a short bit explaining why your photograph relates to your area. Our last website layout design competition was held in February. The theme was to make a layout using one of our color schemes. In spirit of our ever growing stock photo section which has recently reached over half a thousand photos, for this competition you must create and submit a website layout for our website layout section that uses at least one of our stock photos.
