- Affiliates of IceCaves.net are, in general, websites which desire to exchange links with us and also wish to have some sort of friendship with our site.
- Our affiliates are displayed at the bottom of every page under the page content, but we also feature our affiliates on the sidebar and the top of the page.
- The links to each of our affiliates are displayed ordered on how many daily visits we get from each affiliate. If your site's placement is not on the list at all, contact me.
- If your site does not have image buttons, then we will link to you via text link, but note that only sites with buttons are featured in other parts of the page than the bottom.
- Your site will be temporarily removed from our list if we have not received at least one hit from your site within the last 3 days. If this is the case, then your site will be instantly re-added to our list when we get a hit from you. If this does not happen, contact me.
- Sites that join into the IceCaves.net Topsites are placed higher on our list. ;)
Official IceCaves.net Affiliation Rules and Requirements:
The following is a list of the general standards for an IC affiliate to be approved. Whether you continue reading or not is up to you.
- The amount of visitors your site gets does not matter, but your site must live up to my quality standards. These requirements are a few ideas of what my quality standards are.
- Must have a good amount of content. In other words, you don't still consider it under major development. Your site is fully up and running. If I feel that your site is too empty, then I will not accept your application.
- Must have a layout that is easy to use to navigate throughout the site. A good-looking layout is great for first impressions.
- Must be updated regularly, or active in some way.
- Website content must be appropriate for ALL ages. If your website includes any references to anything inapropriate in content such as any gambling, obscene, offensive, vulgar, rude, slanderous, hateful, bribeful, threatening, sexually-oriented, sexually-suggestive, discriminative, religiously offensive, racially offensive, or any other material that may violate any applicable laws in the U.S.A., then you will definately not be accepted, so don't even bother applying and wasting my time.
- Must not contain any pop-up advertisements. These types of advertisements are disrepectful to your visitors in the sense that your visitors are unwillingly sent to another window.
- Joining the IceCaves.net Topsites will help increase your rank on our list if you are accepted. ;)
- I must approve your site. Even if you meet the requirements, I will only accept you if I do not approve of your site.
You must have either a text link or a button link to IceCaves.net up on your site before the application is sent. This is to prevent false submissions and I can be certain that the application came from someone with administrator rights.
- If you will be linking to us with a button, then please save and upload our button to your site to reduce stress on our servers. Thank You.
