Written by: Haily | Here, you can see what is Coming Soon to IC, but I may choose to keep certain projects secret. ;)
1.) More Articles, More Resources, More Visitors, More Members While I have many ideas and ambitions for IceCaves, my main focus is still in my long-term efforts to keep the site updated and to get it more popular. Expect soon to be seeing a blog update more often than the once-a-week update we have now. Expect the staff to be playing a much larger role in producing and releasing new and better IC content. Expect IC to continue to grow not only in visitor statistics but also in members. I also want to focus on getting the forums to be much more active than they are now. Expect a lot of exciting things for IceCaves! Priority Level:
2.) Building IC's YouTube Channel Aside from continuing to post our blogs and resources, I think it would be a great idea for IC to have a presence on YouTube. I have always wanted to provide video tutorials or even just to post certain major site updates in video form. There's potential in YouTube that we could use to help IC grow. Priority Level:
3.) New Skins I really like the idea of creating some new skins for IC. Since our latest website revamp last summer, IC has no longer had skins. I haven't gotten around to making any since then, but I'll be sure to start adding some soon and even more after that. ;) Priority Level:
4.) Community Script Eventually, I would love to convert our community member system into an open-source project that may compete with phpBB and the other leading community systems out there. I have certain plans and ideas for the Community Script that would make it stand out from the other programs already out there (and maybe even make it better). And the exciting part about this project is that it will mean for IceCaves a possible complete revamp on how the site is organized. The base programming for many of the site's features was established when my knowledge in PHP was shaky. The development of this script will lead to better-working features for IceCaves as well as several essential new ones as well, which ties in with the next item. Priority Level:
5.) Expanding the Community Once a strong content base is established or becomes closer within reach, then I would like to focus on expanding the Community with newer member-interactive features such as Ice Friends, Upgraded Profiles, etc. Priority Level:
6.) 2nd Annual Web Awards The IC Web Awards we held in December were a great success and I anticipate this year to be even better.
Your Suggestion Here!
IceCaves.net is a website created for YOU. If you want to see something on the site and we think it's a good idea, then we will definitely do our best to make it happen. We also wish to hear what you do not like about this website. Please post a comment below and state your opinion! Or if you would prefer, Contact Us.

What? my school? Nah, it's in the Netherlands. I'm German by ancestry, but I'm from the US.
That's not confusing.. Lol
My friends in Netherlands at the moment.. I haven't talked to her in over a month! But she gets back in a few days hehe
It's nice here How long have you been in Kenya?
My whole life
We have lived here for the past 4 (dad's side) and 3 (moms side) generations
Wow that's a while x) So you go to the international school for the sake of education? I have a good friend who is moving to Zambia in 2 weeks. *random*
it's one of the best schools here that offer IB. I used to go to a British school before... I was all "prim" and "proper"
And I was in Zambia four months ago - we had a charity meeting type thing there. She'll like it
Ahh, I almost went to the British school, but they ignored my application x) I don't technically go to the international school of my city, I go to the American school. but there are less americans there than "other"s x)) It offers IB as well. In my area there is an international school, american school, french school, german school, and british school. must be some kind of record, all for one city xDD
She probably will, she's adventurous, aha Apparently the IS of Zambia is really nice I'll miss her though, it's so far o_o
haha
The most common schools here are British, as Kenya is a very British oriented country. But we have a Swedish School, a German School, a French School, Oshwal (the Indian school), and our Internatinal School is mainly funded by Americans, Canadians and the UN. We're a huge mix in our school, which is what I love about it!
Do you plan on taking IB?
it really is - we were there for a week for the conference.. the school is beautiful and if she likes sports and gets onto the ISSEA team (International Schools of South East Africa), then she'll get to visit some other schools as well
We have so many Swedish people at my school, it's beyond random. My city needs a Portugese school and a Swedish school! x) There are so many Brazilians, it's crazy random!
I think she is a dancer, so unless that's sportish... IDK.
I know what you mean about loving the mix! My campus is amazing, and the diversity is just amazing. My best friends are Danish, American, Dutch, German, all sorts of things, and it's really cool also because often enough the people that I dislike just move, haha
haha.. I didn't realize there would be so many portugese or brazillians in Norway.. lol
Nope doesn't count...
and i know! My best friends are from Azerbaijan, Cote D'Ivoire, Pakistan, Canada, and a few other random places hehe
*Netherlands
it's a surprisingly big country (population wise)
we have a lot of people from around the world, 18 million total, but you could never tell from the tininess of it. the houses are quite small though...
Norway probably doesn't have many Brazilians x)))
random friends are awesome though It's such a cool way to grow up.
oops.. meant Netherlands lol
and I love random friends.. especially friends who do super random things. One of my friends didn't know a lot of slang words and stuff, so I've been teaching her everything
ahahaha, awesome. a lot of my friends who don't speak english as a first language... well, i just talk to them. then they stare at me awkwardly for a second and then respond. apparently, I talk very fast and they are trying to understand me xDDD
I know the feeling... I have this one.. acquaintance.. he doesn't speak english very well, and he's SUPER smart and likes showing it off. I barely understand him, and he just won't shut up!
^^AHEM, is this on topic? haha loong convo you got going there.
haha, oops! It was all related.. at one point
haha a point loong ago. By the way, this list needs umm..fixing. The community script definitely has far more priority than the Youtube channel now.
that's what I was thinking. I read the top where Haily wrote: I'll keep somethings secret or something like that (too lazy to scroll up.. lol)
I wonder what he's got planned up his sleeve
